The Farm Operations Assistant supports the Sr. Farm Operations Associate/Farm Operations
Manager in implementing various farm operations activities.
This role involves monitoring the
day-to-day activities of farm workers and supporting the development and implementation of new
projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Farm Operations Management:
Assist in the successful implementation of crop cultural management and ensure trial success rate based on the required trial quality standards.
Monitor compliance with company rules and regulations
Provides support in monitoring the day-to-day activities of the farm workers and performance evaluation
Provide support/initiate in the maintenance and development of farm-related data and other digital tools
Financial Management:
Submit necessary reports as required (e.g. inventory reports, trial status, projects status, etc)
Assist in ensuring maintenance and monitoring of equipment and consumable inventories, Support operational excellence initiatives/projects including resource/expense management.
Self-Development and Team Collaboration:
Support in training farm workers in equipment use and techniques, and advise on equipment development, design, and application.
Submit reports for review and discussion, assist in implementing and controlling company policies, and support team collaboration and communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Higher Degree in Agriculture or field-relevant experience
Diploma in Agriculture with 3-5 years of applicable experience
Bachelors degree in Agriculture with 1-3 years of applicable experience
