Edufarmers Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower Indonesian smallholder farmers to build a sustainable, productive, and climate-resilient agricultural sector. Since 2015, Edufarmers Foundation has been working with thousands of farmers and youths across multiple provinces and commodities in Indonesia. This year, we are stepping up our effort and aiming to train and empower > 20,000 farmers.
In Edufarmers, we work with diverse range of clients: corporates, foundations, governments, and multilateral organizations who seek our expertise in agriculture training and working with farming communities. We are working with such organizations in order to scale our impact to more farmers. Some of the clients and projects that we were working with:
Doctor Share: Improve farming communities' livelihood and decrease stunting ratio through better agricultural productivity.
GIZ: Create basic financial literacy training module and deliver the module to 4,000 cocoa farmers in Central Sulawesi.
PIK2: Introduce horticulture farming to local communities as another source of revenue.
And many more upcoming.
We are currently looking for Project Associate to lead the end-to-end process of the projects starting from design concept to on-the-ground implementation of the projects. Expect that the pace will be very fast and there will be a lot of changes in the concept along the way.

As a Project Associate, You Are Expected To Design, Manage, And Implement Projects With Clients From Corporates, Foundations, Governments, And Multilateral Organizations To Enhance Impact For Smallholder Farmers. The Details Of The Job Will Include, But Might Not Be Limited To The Following
Gather project requirements from internal and external stakeholders (farmers, partners, experts, stakeholders, governments, etc.) independently.
Perform quantitative and/or qualitative research and analysis to dig deeper into the issue.
Synthesize findings to design an overall delivery concept that satisfies project requirements.
Create the concept document and present it to the management and client.
Map out resources needed to deliver the project and work together with other functions or external stakeholders to fulfill needed resources.
Hire and build an operational team to work on the project.
Develop operational material and evaluation instruments for delivery and evaluation.
Manage the project to ensure deliverables are fulfilled on time and targets are achieved.
Requirements And Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and implementing initiatives.
Have a track record in successfully leading a project from the design phase to the implementation phase and achieving the target.
Agriculture-related background is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, have the ability to make a cohesive connection and solution out of available scattered information.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to cope with sudden changes in requirements.
Love working on challenges and solving them together with the team.
Ability to work independently and resourceful with minimal supervision.
Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills (English and Indonesian).
Ability to travel to the program site as necessary.
Ability to perform data analysis using Ms. Excel.
Ability to create compelling presentations using Ms.PowerPoint
